Thanksgiving-
St. John Lutheran Church-
All Elwood residents are invited to share the community Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, served from St. John Lutheran Church, located south of Elwood at the intersection of highways 13 and 37. Carry out meals may be picked up any time from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Meals will also be delivered beginning at 10 a.m. that day. To have meals delivered, call 552-6125 any time before 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and leave a message with name, address, and number of meals needed. This meal is free. Clients who are already on the delivery list will receive their meals as usual. The menu will include turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, and pie.
Harmony House Mission-
Thanksgiving Day meal is served 12:00 noon to 4:00pm. It’s at the Connect Campus– 1817 S. A. St.

Holiday Assistance:
The Salvation Army of Madison County and Mounds Detachment of Toys for Tots are partnering once again this year to help provide families with Christmas Assistance. This assistance will include Food for Christmas Dinner from The Salvation Army and if you have children aged 0-18 (enrolled in high school) we will provide gifts as well.
