Elwood Community Schools understands the issues and influences that children and teens encounter, both in school and in the world outside of the school environment. Many of these can be detrimental to a child's academic progress and overall health and safety. These issues and influences know neither social nor economic boundaries. Children from all levels of family income, type of employment, and social status are subject to the dangers posed by today's society.

In our on-going efforts to combat these dangers, we will use this page to provide resources to increase understanding, awareness and education for parents, students and the community about various topics in this arena.
